Meridith De Avila Khan owns and operates MDK Studio, located in the heart of historic downtown Lynchburg, Virginia. She crafts beautiful, high-quality images using natural and studio lighting, but perhaps more importantly, she loves making you feel comfortable in front of her lens. Happy clients have been known to say that Meridith’s images are  their favorite ever. She think that’s a pretty great endorsement, and strives to make sure every client feels the same way.

Meridith has been the marketing photographer for  Sweet Briar College since 2010, and her work has won industry awards. You can see examples of her work in the Sweet Briar section of her gallery page.

Meridith & her hubby Adeel share a love of photography, foreign films, and travel, and gut-busting laughter over silly things.

They make their home with their three children in a lovely Queen Anne Victorian in College Hill.
